IELTS Refund & Rescheduling Policy

  • Requests for a refund or to reschedule 5 weeks or more prior to your test must be made in writing to English Testing Canada Ltd.  A fee of $50 will be charged for rescheduling or cancelling a test.

  • Please note, test date transfers are not permitted within the 14-day period before the test date.  Cancellations are not permitted within the 5-week period before the test date.

  • If you paid for your test online, please pay your admin fee HERE.

  • Candidates who seek to cancel their registration within the five-week period prior to their test date will only receive a refund if they can satisfy the Administrator that their ability to sit the test has been affected by illness or serious cause. Please download the Request for Refund or Test Date Transfer Form, fill it in and forward the form along with documentation to the test centre.

TRF Postage

Toronto Tests:
All personal Test Report Forms (TRFs) will be held at our office at 455 Spadina Ave for 60 days from the test date.  If you would like your personal TRF mailed to your home, you must email info@myetc.ca with your request.  There is no charge for regular postage of personal TRFs.  Courier fees will apply if requested.  After 60 days from the test date, personal TRFs remaining in our office will be destroyed.

Edmonton Tests:
All personal Test Report Forms (TRFs) will be held at our office at 10357-109 Street NW for 60 days from the test date.  If you would like your personal TRF mailed to your home, you must email ielts@etcwest.ca with your request.  There is no charge for regular postage of personal TRFs.  Courier fees will apply if requested.  After 60 days from the test date, personal TRFs remaining in our office will be destroyed.

Winnipeg Tests:
All personal Test Report Forms (TRFs) will be held at our office at 1180 Pembina Hwy for 60 days from the test date.  If you would like your personal TRF mailed to your home, you must email info@etccentral.ca with your request.  There is no charge for regular postage of personal TRFs.  Courier fees will apply if requested.  After 60 days from the test date, personal TRFs remaining in our office will be destroyed.

All other cities:
All personal Test Report Forms (TRFs) will be mailed to the address indicated on the Online Registration System.  It is the responsibility of the test-taker to ensure their address is entered correctly.  There is no charge for regular postage of personal TRFs.  Courier fees will apply if requested.
